Hello. My name is Michael Tipper and very soon I shall be working with you and some of your colleagues and I want to take this opportunity to explain a little about what I am going to help you with.

From the profile of your organisation I suspect that you are an extremely busy person with aspirations to be even more successful than you already are, otherwise you wouldn’t be part of this group.

How Much More Time Do You Want?

So with that in mind, let me ask you this question about your time. Which sounds most appealing to you?

Being able to free up an hour a day

Having a spare afternoon a week

Claiming back 2 days a month in your diary

Or taking another 3 weeks off every year

Now if you had to choose just one of those, which would it be, and what would you do with that time?

It doesn’t really matter which one you do choose because in effect they are all the same. An hour day rolled over becomes an afternoon a week, which over a month would be 2 days and over a year that becomes 3 weeks. My job when we get together is to show you how you can find that time.

Because you see, despite what you think about just how busy your schedule is and the effective way you do things, I am convinced that this time is there and it is there for you.

More Time Is Available To You And There Are
Many Reasons Why You Might Not Have It Right Now

So why don’t you currently have access to it?

Well there are many reasons it could be but here are just a few that it might be:

  • You are too close to your elephant to be able to see the wood from the trees (apologies for combining metaphors there)

  • You have work habits and patterns of professional behaviour that whilst effective in the past may not be as useful in today’s business environment

  • You don’t believe that time availability of that magnitude is possible for your particular set of circumstances

  • There is knowledge about creating and releasing that time which you just do not have

It is my job when we get together to show you how achieving that extra time is not only possible, but probable.

Let me clear up a couple of things here - this is not a conventional time management course, nor is it a personal effectiveness workshop.

Whilst some of what is covered could be given those labels, this session covers simple and easy to implement, yet extremely powerful practical measures that you will be able to use and apply immediately. And the emphasis is on simplicity and practicality.

To Find Greater Balance In Your Life You Must STOP Some Things, START Other Things And Do Some Things Differently

In essence you will discover what you can STOP doing, what you can START doing and what you can start doing DIFFERENTLY that will release that time for you.

Let me just give you an outline of the programme as it is currently planned:

  • First of all you have this video which is designed to not only give you an overview of what to expect, but also begin opening your mind to the possibilities of having this extra time available for you.

  • Secondly there is the time we will spend together in person. This has three phases:

    • Phase 1 focuses on which is the time frame that appeals to you the most and what you will do with it. We also begin looking at the things you can stop and start doing here.

    • Phase 2 looks at the sheer volume of information that you have to deal with and introduces you to a powerful filtering strategy that turns the conventional logic of “reading” on its head so that you can cut your volume of reading by 80-90%.

    • Phase 3 is a show and tell. For you to have got where you are today there are things you do that are time saving devices for you. Come and be prepared to share at least one of those with the rest of the group. If you and your colleagues share just one thing each that saves you 10 minutes a day then we only need 6 of those ideas to find that previously elusive hour.

This last phase is where the power of your organisation really comes into its own. You will be learning and benefitting from the vast accumulative experience of your colleagues.

The Hour A Day Workshop Is The Start of the Journey

  • After the session there is 7 module e-course to follow up on what you have learnt and help embed your new habits to create, condition and keep that extra time.
  • You will also receive a free copy of an audio programme I have put together based on interviews with successful CEOs and business executives who share their time saving tips.
  • And finally you will receive 1 year’s free membership to my “Hour a Day” video newsletter which contains weekly nuggets to free up even more time and unleash even more productivity. The criteria for these tips are:
    • They are simple and easy to apply
    • They help save time or create greater personal effectiveness
    • Take 1 minute or less to explain

So hopefully that has given you some idea of what we will be covering when we meet and what you should expect to get out of the session.

So in preparation for this session here is what I’d like you to do:

  • If you have a large document about 1 inch thick, or a business related book that you have been putting off reading, then bring that too.

  • Think about the great time saving or personal effectiveness strategies that work really well for you and be prepared to share at least one or even several with the group – the more the better.
  • Please ensure that you bring to the session your diary or time management device – the place where you note and monitor your appointments – maybe you could note these three things in there right now.

So thank you for your attention and I look forward to meeting you in the very near future.

Regards
